I SAW WALLE! I SAW WALLE! YAY! And it was wonderful! Of course I had to celebrate the release somehow (aside from drawing EVE fanart, haha), so I set to work last night and made this little number, which I wore today: an EVE shirt! I made her head in Illustrator (I had a tough time with the digital eyes, and they didn't glow as well as I wanted them, too, but I still liked how it looked in the end) and then just used dark t-shirt transfer paper to put it on. I'm happy with the results, except I'm never buying that kind of t-shirt again. Ugh. Worst fitting t-shirt in the world. The color was perfect, though.
And the best part is, after finally seeing the movie, I can say without a doubt that I truly am an EVE fangirl. EVE kicks ass, what can I say?
I've already started making a WALLE t-shirt (which might turn into a WALLE/EVE shirt, teehee), and I think that I'm going to do a M-O one, too, because he was just as cute as the dickens. I'm seeing WALLE again tomorrow, so we'll see if I wear my newest creation to the theatre... I can't wait!
Oh, erm, and yeah: EVE is owned by Andrew "Gangbusters" Stanton and the rest of the Pixar family.
Wow, I'm glad you like it, thanks! I actually just made the one t-shirt for myself, but I guess if enough people display interest in having it... I might sell a few. X3
That's awesome. You should make another with her eyes closed and the plant symbol lit up in the middle of the shirt. Or put it on the back of that shirt.
I also want to see the movie again. This time in IMAX.
Thanks much! I was planning on putting something on the back but couldn't really think of anything. That's a really good idea, though, I should add that.
Oh, gosh, it's in IMAX? I definitely need to make plans to see it again... I just have to find an IMAX theatre first! XD That would be AWESOME.
Well, I hope it is. I'm pretty sure the big blockbuster movies get put on the IMAX a bit after release. They put Kung Fu Panda on IMAX, im sure Wall-E would be too.

Across the globe, 27 million men, women, and children live in some form of slavery. That is more people at this moment than in all the centuries of the Atlantic Slave Trade. Something must be done. This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization.
Open to all mediums. Deadline is March 10, 2010 @ 11:59pm PST.
